We’ve released a new feature in eParachute that we know you’ll like.

Once you’ve identified your best-loved skills, fields, and people environment, it’s extremely helpful to get new ideas for occupations you might want to explore. But many of us are also curious about what kinds of learning opportunities are suited to us, as well.

Now, once you’ve finished the “discover your strengths” section on eParachute, you’ll also have the opportunity to see a set of suggested majors or courses that you might want to explore. Not only will you see an overview of several majors that fit your interests, you’ll be able to delve into lists of courses under each of those majors, and see the related career options that are connected to those lines of study.

Together with the Career Ideas listings, the Suggested Majors and Courses gives you a powerful set of information about opportunities you might want to explore in the future. And if you’ve already gone through eParachute before, all you have to do is check back in to your profile in the Explore section, and you’ll automatically see the new Majors & Courses information.

To get started, just look for the suggest majors button in the sidebar of the explorer.

Pro tip: the more career ideas you mark as favorites in the explorer, the more refined the major and course suggestions become.
